Chatter - Rams

Hey guys game time is approaching, and I just want to spark some discussion before The Patriots take on The Rams in London. Below are just a few questions to lube up the discussion box. Let me know what you think in the comments section

- In addition to the injuries The Patriots depth will be tested by illness. Both Jerod Mayo and Vince Wilfork have been battling sickness this week. Will their snaps be limited? What will the DL look like?

- The Kickers and Punters seem to be the most popular players for these English fans, who is hoping that we see some long FGs and Punts to get them riled up. Maybe they'll do an "ole' ole'" chant.

- Is there any hope out there that The Patriots secondary can turn it around today? With such a bad O-line The Pats should get pressure to offset their weak secondary. Maybe this game will be a springboard to success after the bye week.

- Who will be today's MVP? My vote goes to Devin McCourty. He needs to be more aggressive at Safety to set the tone for the whole Defense. He needs to be the best player on the field, especially if Mayo and Wilfork struggle with illness/endurance.

  1. I think that Vince Wilfork will be used a little less than usual. If he's too tired to play in the 4th quarter then we'll see the same trend we've been seeing, losing it in the 4th quarter. Illness is bad for endurance, so BB needs to be cautious.

    1. He's a very well conditioned big man, and there's such a drop off in talent behind him, but he needs to be rested for rushing downs late in the game. Totally agree

  2. My vote for MVP today has got to be Brady. He needs to put the team on his back today and just outscore these Rams.

    1. I don't like to just put it all on Brady, but I think a legendary performance is in order.
