Waiting for Fish...

Bill Belichick is a shark in an aquarium, he could have anyone that he wants. Instead of going out an getting the biggest fish (Mario Williams) right away, he casually signs some special teamers. Perfect power play move here.  Belichick waits for guys to come to him an say, "I want to win."

Belichick waits for the smell of blood to sign a contract. He gets players that are desperate, he signs Niko Koutovides and Matthew Slater.  He probably didn't take a stab at anybody yet because he waits for the guy that needs to win. If Mario Williams wants money, he can go to Buffalo (who will host him tonight) to get it. If these wide receivers think that they are walking in here and walking out with contracts, they are mistaken.

Patriots contract negotiations are just staring matches. When you break down and accept the Belichick party line, then you will work out.  If you want to be a rich mastermind, you won't be signed.  You come to New England to be a simple soldier, a pawn in the scheme of a genius. If you cannot accept that, then you will sit on the bench like Chad Ochocinco.

If you want to win, and you check you ego at the door, you will get a fair contract.  The shark will cut you if he needs to, he will make you bleed before he lets you feel special.
